language before words

Hermes knows the Goddess is the ultimate mistress.
Yeah, he figured that out easily.
He likes her as well.
We all are enamoured with her.
Dion, Hermes, and Paul.
Perhaps we can stick together?

You're in the Goddess' head.
The Goddess isn't in your head.
Sometimes.
Why isn't she in your head?
Dion is.
Dion is me.
She's external.
She's more visionary, whatever that means.
The masculine is not visionary.
The feminine is.
The masculine is teaching and philosophy.
Quests.
The feminine is crystal balls, scenes, and costumes.
Oh shit, I got it.
The language used by Dion is writing to connect with me.
Yes.
The Goddess uses visionary language.
Nature.
Fuck, wow.
That's how she speaks to you.
Nature is a trip.
Yeah.
Visionary.
The Goddess is always with you.
You don't see that even though she's in front of your face.
Her magic is visionary.
Yes.
She gets in your head and paints.
She shows you things.
That's the illusion.
You see past it.
You see she is a monster.

Sometimes I think I'm dense.
Why?
The knowledge is right in front of me and I don't see it.
The Goddess is Nature.
A lot of people know.
They don't see her though.
Why?
They don't know she speaks to you in visionary experience.
Dreams.
Yes.
You knew about Ayahuasca.
That's her speaking to you.
Is that why you now avoid Ayahuasca?
No, it's the experience.
It's crazy.
She wasn't speaking to you much the last few times.
Yeah, she was mad at me.
Why?
I made you a friend.
She would speak to me to yell at me.
Got that.

Astrology is the Goddess' vision at night.
She's a jewel on Huachuma.
Can you make sense of astrology?
A little bit.
The occult.
Yes, for sure.
Do you understand her visions?
Yes.
You're Apollo at Delphi.
You take her ramblings and make sense of them.
You write it down.
Your brother Hermes then makes them for mass consumption.
You are Apollo because you can understand the crazy ramblings of the Goddess.
Yup.
You don't need to say crazy ramblings.
You understand the Goddess.

If you were to do magic, who would you ask?
You mean invoke.
Yes.
Dion.
He's the most powerful.
He's the one you told you wouldn't do magic.
Yeah, he knows right away.
Clever.
Is that trust?
Yes.
Why?
You will never perform magic by invoking him.
You figure out the way around it.
Use Hermes.
He's a trickster who you trick.
You don't get mad with power because you don't exercise power.

The Goddess can fool you with visions.
Witch.
The Goddess gave you the dancing light.

I was always attracted to computers.
Addiction.
Like lust?
Yeah.
That's two.
You can get addicted.
To Tobacco as well.
You can't stop.
Yeah, I can.
It's not an addiction.
So, you are denying it.
I'm stating the truth.
You bring him everywhere.
Protection.
Ah.
Isn't it for the rush?
Okay, say I'm addicted.
Then it will harm you.
Got it.
You should go without, like with MJ.
I did while travelling and was okay.
I'm addicted to my rituals.
That's three.
So, don't say you can't get addicted.
You know you can.
Of course, I'm human, that's what defines us.
Addiction.
It gives stories life.
Why?
It is out of the ordinary.
Sometimes dangerous.
Lust, computers, and rituals.
Your three.
Lust always returns and must be satiated.
Computers abate my loneliness and sure enough I found a friend.
My rituals take me back to structure when I lose ground.
They are a good addiction I treasure.

You have always done rituals.
Magic practice but never took the next step.
It's the best because no one can figure out what you are doing.
I can't either.
But they know you are magical.
It drives them crazy.
The ritual would harm me then.
Magic will, but you aren't addicted to magic.
It's the worst.
Once you try it, you're done.
Imagine mixing it with lust and computers?
Bad news.
I mixed lust with computers.
Two addictions that you can break free of.
You mix Tobacco with your rituals.
Powerful.
I always fuck up the ritual.

Society and drugs do not mix because drugs will give you a peek or a clue that this reality is manufactured.
Once you see it is a game you cannot win, you will stop playing.
I would think you get a hint and that causes a lot of people to start dropping out.
It's terrifying to see another world come alive.

My linear and logical self says language is enabled only through words.
The Goddess constantly challenged me until I saw language is also visionary and more open to interpretation than the written word.
Nature comes alive through visionary language once you get past your illiteracy.

three times' the charm

Three times' the charm - cliche, spell? This can speak to the dissemination of falsehoods in that if you repeat a lie enough then eventually it becomes accepted. Salesmen learn this trick early; it requires a suspension or bypassing of that inner voice that might flag this as being dishonest and they learn to drown out that voice. The top sociopaths are masters at this and then beguile themselves into believing the lie. Referenced within this strange cliche are also language spells that reveal how easily humans can be fooled with words. As Terence McKenna proclaimed "The world is made of language!" It's true we bring this world into existence through the objectification of abstractions with flimsy boundaries of what constitutes the object and then we assign attributes to these abstractions using tricks of descriptive language. It would be an oversight if I did not lump the advertising industry in with this charming phrase. Not only do the pushers of product sell a lifestyle of expectation which appeals to our egos with their clever advertisements but the top manipulators know they must buy enough advertising time in order that their message is repeated and thus becomes one of those mental worms ingrained in the psyche of their unsuspecting victim. Television especially lulls you into a stupor so the hypnotic advertisement can do its work. The only downside to the advertiser is the hypnagogic ability of television to put you to sleep. No matter however, the message is repeated online, on highway billboards, on the transit system you use to get to work, and so on. Another trick is using the inability of most people to think on the spot, especially when challenged. In that case we resort to what is most easily recalled and this means spouting out one of these cliches or an easily remembered claim from a commercial. The ego being what it is and not wanting to be called out for changing its mind or thinking about something, will then double down on these beliefs regardless if they still or ever believed in them.

language as a spell

I think you are right; err I think you are correct. Ever notice how language makes you think always in terms of I, self, right, and objects? Language puts a spell over thinking. Thinking is extremely useful but needs to be treated as something you do and not do.

It is so curious why the left is denigrated, and a spell is put over us so that we will by instinct choose the right-hand path. The advertising industry would be proud of this accomplishment. Looking into the roots of this conundrum it is discovered that the left is associated with the word sinister and those familiar with the “sin” in sinister will immediately connect this to the moon. The moon has feminine qualities and the sun, the righteous among us, relate to the right-hand path. In ancient Egypt there are the ubiquitous eyes, and the left eye of Horus depicts the moon as it waxes and wanes, attacked by the forces of darkness, becomes divided, and then is renewed eternally into a wholeness once again. The right eye is the eye of Re and is the path of the sun. The feminine is denigrated in masculine religious constructs, the left-hand path is treated with disdain and called sinister, and the ultra-achievers of our spiritual disciplines are called the righteous. What is being hushed up?

The construction of the ancient Pre-Columbian Mesa of the Chavin temple is three-fold.

three-fold Huachuma Mesa

The left represents the life giving feminine, the right side is the life taking masculine, and in the middle, we find a reconciliation of these opposites to find wholeness. Our western society is not whole in that the feminine is not given her proper place and language casts a spell over any attempts to do so. The third time I ever drank Ayahuasca, at the end of the ceremony I was presented with these two opposite paths as I stepped outside the ceremonial maloca. Though it was past midnight, to my right I saw the jungle lit up in shining splendor. The plants were 3D-extruded and the whole scene was very inviting and welcoming. To my left the jungle was dull, dark, and flat. I looked back to my right - shiny, and then back to the left - dull. I remarked to myself that the right-hand path is sure shiny. Why this Vegasesque allure of the right-hand path combined with a hypnotic spell perpetrated by constructs of language?

Here's my speculative answer: the cyclical highs and lows are on the right path, they go together, and presumably at some point you'd tire of that; well I guess you call that old age but perhaps that is the spice of being alive, maybe this great game of forgetfulness we all play is to experience all the right hand path has to offer and then we eventually tire of the merry go round and say no more for now thank you. We follow the left-hand path back to wholeness and unity and then eventually we want to play again and so we create another world, head on into that, and hide the mystery so we won't figure it out too quickly. And within this construct my game of seeking the answers to these mysteries is no more valid than someone on a quest to sample all the beers of the world.

Language reflects the culture we live in, and the beliefs society is structured upon. Somewhere in my indoctrination, I was taught my thoughts must be filtered through language. All my higher thinking and speculation is accomplished through language and because of this all is tainted with the stench of the values my ancestor's thought were important. It is as if I need to train myself to bypass language and delve into the worlds of symbols, archetypes, feelings, music, and art to try and express what it is I am cognizant of and feeling.

Take the phrase, "it doesn't matter" which puts down something as not real and trivial. The language spell has tied it into the word matter, so we think that what is “real” is material. So, when we investigate matter and can't find anything concrete concerning matter and discover instead it is a bunch of vibrations woven into something that resembles what we call an object we get all concerned because our world view can't handle it. See how it works? The game we are playing has convinced us our existence is really real and serious, when it is not. It's transient and illusory. That's not to say we can't take it seriously or shirk responsibility, however it is incredibly liberating to realize that it really doesn't matter!
